I am a firm believer in the Mind/Body/Spirit connection.
To me that means: there are no secrets, or secret knowledge within myself. I
can know, I do know what is right for me. I am my own medical intuitive. But
the difficult part is learning to honestly listen inward, and to not be
distracted by ego preferences, or the voices of societal expectations. I should
never abdicate my life to an outside “authority.” And it is essential to
develop my intuitive, listening skills.
The term medical intuitive was first coined by Dr. Norm
Shealy, along with Caroline Myss. Many medical intuitives ‘see’ within the body
systems in great detail and determine primarily the causes of physical disease.
Occasionally, they work with doctors in clinical settings to assist in intuiting
what current technology cannot yet see.
According to the Subtle
Energy Center a medical intuitive is a
psychic or intuitive counselor who specializes in perceiving information
concerning the human body. Intuitive
counselors date back to the ancient Egyptian Imhotep and the Greek Asclepius.
The Delphi Oracles in Greece were consulted for personal and health concerns. More
recently, in the United States, during the 19th century Phineas Parkhurst
Quimby practiced intuitive healing starting in 1854. Edgar Cayce was the most
well-known medical clairvoyant in the United States during of the early 20th
century. Perhaps the most well-known medical intuitive, currently, is Caroline
Myss.
In my pursuit to develop my
intuitive abilities, I searched out some good books:
1 Become a
Medical Intuitive: The Complete Developmental Course (Nov 1,
2014)
by Tina M.
Zion.
Medical Medium: Secrets Behind
Chronic and Mystery Illness and How to Finally Heal
(Nov 10, 2015) by Anthony Williams
3 Medical Medium Life-Changing Foods:
Save Yourself and the Ones You Love with the HiddeHealing Powers of Fruit (Nov 8, 2016) by
Anthony Williams
These books have helped me tremendously.
Because I was raised in my parent’s house to doubt myself, I have a daily
battle between my childhood conditioning versus the educated adult I am today. (This
is my personal psychology, which is very real and not the point of this
article.) Anthony William’s book especially has helped validated what I have
always known intuitively. I would suggest that one could read these books and gain
so much, even if the only reason to do so is to find personal validation. Some would
not find the concept of being a medical intuitive appealing.
I am currently reading Zion’s
book as an over-view before settling in to do the exercises. Tina Zion is described
as a fourth-generation psychic medium, specializing in medical intuition. She is
certified in mental health nursing from the American Nurses Credentialing
Association. She is also a Gestalt trained counselor, from the Indianapolis
Gestalt Institute in 1997. She has certification in clinic hypnotherapy and
specialized in past life regressions.
Zion’s book is a complete
training experience. This step-by-step approach is meant to intensify psychic
abilities and develop your x-ray perception. Exercises will train the reader to
1. Physically see like an x-ray machine; 2. Take charge of your energy field;
3. Learn how imagination and intuition work together; 4. Develop inner sight
for the deeper cause of illness; 5. See, feel, and sense the entire person on
all levels; 6. Understand the electromagnetic energy of thought and emotion; 7.
Receive the pure essence of someone's life story; 8. use medical intuition as a
healing technique; 9. Understand and use the "knowing" you have; 10. Inform
without diagnosing; 11. Identify general areas and organs of the human body; 12.
Assess auric colors for vibrational accuracy; 13. Review actual case studies
and assessments to learn from them.
Since age four, Anthony
William has conversed with a high-level Spirit who has provided him with
accurate health information that's often far ahead of its time. Anthony uses
his gift to "read" people's conditions and tell them how to recover
their health. His unprecedented accuracy as a medical medium and success rate have
earned him the trust and love of countless people from all walks of life. With
insights from Spirit, William is often an invaluable resource to physicians who
need help solving some of their most difficult cases.
Anthony William’s biography
tells us that as a medical medium he has helped tens of thousands of people
heal from ailments which have been misdiagnosed, ineffectively treated, or that
doctors were unable to resolve. William listens to a divine Spiritual voice
that literally speaks into his ear and explains to him what lies at the root of
the individual’s pain or illness. He is told what his client’s need to do to
restore their health.
The
book Medical Medium reveals the root causes of many diseases and conditions
that medical communities currently misunderstand or struggle to understand at
all. The book suggests all-natural solutions for dozens of the illnesses
that plague us, including Lyme disease, fibromyalgia, adrenal fatigue, chronic
fatigue syndrome, hormonal imbalances, Hashimoto’s disease, multiple
sclerosis, depression, neurological conditions, chronic inflammation,
autoimmune disease, blood-sugar imbalances, colitis and other digestive
disorders, and more. There are several chapters that offer solutions
for restoring the soul and spirit. Chronic illness can grind away at our
emotional fabric and leave us feeling betrayed by our own body.
Medical Medium Life-Changing Foods delves into the healing
power of fruits, vegetables, herbs and spices. Wild foods, in particular, have
an extraordinarily positive effect on health. He explains each food’s
properties, as well as, the symptoms and conditions it relieves. He also
discusses the emotional and spiritual benefits of each. The book also contains
many recipes that enhance each food’s maximum health benefit.
Willliam explains why we
need to include more fruit in our diet and how many current, trendy diet plans
are keeping us from achieving optimum health. He describes wild blueberries as
the “resurrection food,” asparagus as the fountain of youth, and lemons as the best
choice to lift your spirits when faced with bad news. He identifies the best
foods to relieve gallstones, hypertension, brain fog, thyroid issues,
migraines, as well as, dozens of symptoms and conditions. He discusses how
fruit has an important role in enhancing fertility.
